Pulling your work into a message with @

Typing @ in the composer opens a picker over everything in your Workspace. Choose something and it becomes a green chip inside your sentence, and Metir reads it alongside your question.

How it works

1. Type @ anywhere in your message

   The picker opens immediately.

2. Keep typing to narrow it down

   It filters as you type.

3. Press Enter or click to insert

   The chip becomes part of the sentence, so "Summarise @Northwind kickoff and draft a follow-up" reads naturally.

What you can mention

Meetings, notes, files, contacts and projects. The picker groups them so you can tell at a glance what kind of thing each result is.

Mentions compared with attachments

A mention names something you already have. An attachment adds something new. Both end up as chips above the text box, and both are read with your message. See attaching files.

Removing one

Delete the chip like any other text, or use the cross on the chip above the box.
