Turning it on
Press the plus button, then Amnesia. A tick shows when it is active, and the composer shows that the next message will be sent without context.
What it switches off
Memory, your knowledge base, and chat history search are all disabled for that message. Metir answers from what you typed and nothing else.
When it is useful
- Asking a general question where your own context would skew the answer.
- Seeing how a model behaves without your data.
- Drafting something that must not accidentally include your details.
