Metir remembers useful context you share, including facts about you, how you like things done, and the people and projects you talk about. You do not have to repeat that context in every chat.

What gets remembered
Facts, preferences, and details about the people and projects you work with. Tell it once that you present to a board every quarter, and it stops asking who the audience is.
When it happens
You do not need to manage memory after each chat. Useful context is available in later conversations without an extra step.
How it handles a change
Tell it plainly when something changes. It uses the new detail in future answers. Include dates with measurements or milestones so it can understand how they change over time.
What it does not do
It does not store your documents as memory. Documents stay documents and are searched when they are needed. See adding and indexing files.
The first-reply note
Under your first assistant reply you see a one-time note: I'll remember this for next time. It confirms that useful context can carry into a later conversation.
