Talking to Metir in real time

Talk live opens a spoken conversation. You talk, Metir talks back, and it can use the same context, memory, skills, and connected tools as chat while the call is running.

Starting a call

Use the Talk live action on the chat home. It appears in the quick-action row once you have completed any of the three first steps. See your first five minutes.

What it can do mid-call

It can look things up in your Workspace, use connectors you have switched on, and search the web. While it works, a single line under the cloud names the step it is on, and nothing else: you are listening to a call, not reading a log. The full thinking timeline is kept and attached to the saved reply, so you can open it afterwards. The answer is spoken back to you when it is ready. See connectors in a chat.

Website and mobile

On the Website and on Mobile, the call shows the same clock, captions and labelled Mute or Unmute and End call controls. You can begin a new call from the chat home or resume a saved Live Voice conversation. Both platforms save the spoken turns back into that chat when the call ends.

Charts, cards and files

If it builds a chart, table or card, creates a file, or opens a file while answering you, that item appears in the call itself rather than waiting for the end. The items collect in one carousel, newest first, so you can look back without losing your place. Open an item for a larger view, then close it to return to the call. Camera and screen

Live Voice is audio-only, on web and on mobile. There is no camera or screen sharing in a call.

Ending a call

What you said and what Metir replied are saved as normal messages in the same chat, in speaking order. Thinking steps, tool activity, and sources stay attached to the reply that used them, so you can continue by typing or resume another call with the same history.
