Generating and editing images
Set the composer category to Image and the toolbar changes: you get controls for the picture instead of controls for the text.
Then refine it by asking
- Switch the category to Image
- The toolbar changes to image controls
- Describe what you want
- Then refine it by asking
Switching to Image
Open the category chip and choose Image. See choosing a model.
The controls you get
The chips change with the image model you pick, because different models describe pictures in different terms. This is the part people find surprising, so it is worth knowing before you go looking for a control that is not there.
- Some models give you Aspect ratio and Resolution.
- Others give you Size and Quality.
Whichever applies, the composer shows it. If a control you expected is missing, switch model in the picker. See choosing a model.
Editing an existing image
Attach the image and describe the change you want rather than describing the whole picture again.
Writing a good prompt
Say the subject, the style and what it is for. Then refine by asking for changes, which keeps the parts you liked.
