Notifications, invites and your data
Three separate things that all live in your account: how Metir reaches you, how you get free credits, and what happens to your data.
Northwind kickoff
Phased rollout agreed for October. Pilot limited to two regions.
Notifications take you straight to the thing
- The user menu holds the account controls
- Invite someone, you both get credits
- Notifications take you straight to the thing
Notifications
Metir can reach you by push notification and by email. Whichever channel it uses, a notification always takes you to the thing it is about: a meeting that is ready, a suggestion that needs a decision, a project you were added to.
On mobile you are asked for notification permission the first time it matters. If you declined and want to change your mind, that lives in your device settings rather than in Metir.
Inviting people
Invite for Free Credits is in the user menu at the bottom of the sidebar. Share your link, and when someone you invited actually starts using Metir, you both get credits. See managing your subscription.
Your data
Metir stores your meetings and their transcripts, the files and notes you add, your conversations, and the memory it builds from them. See how memory works.
Removing things
- Files and notes go to trash, and can then be deleted permanently. See organising Knowledge.
- Conversations can be deleted from the sidebar.
- Memory can be corrected in conversation. See managing memory.
Excluding a message from memory
Use Amnesia before sending it. See Amnesia.
Common questions

Can I stop Metir remembering something?
