Connecting an app you sign in to

Most connectors ask you to sign in to the app and approve access. Some first let you choose which permissions to grant.

Connecting

1. Open Settings, then Integrations

   Find the app you want under Calendars or Connectors.

2. Start the connection

   Choose Connect. You are handed to the app's own sign-in page.

3. Sign in and approve

   Read what it is asking for. You return to Metir with the app marked Connected. For an app that can hold several accounts, the account appears on its own row beneath the app.

Choosing permissions

When a connector offers meaningful choices, Metir first opens [app] permissions. Every permission starts switched on. Switch off any you do not want, then choose Continue. To change them later, disconnect and connect again. This step is skipped when there is nothing useful to choose.

Connecting more than one account

Where an app supports it, each account is its own connection, so a work and a personal account can both be connected at once. Click the app's row and choose Add account to add another.

Revoking access

Choose Disconnectfrom the row's menu in Metir. If you want to be thorough, also revoke Metir in the other app's own security settings.

If a connection stops working

The connection row shows Errorand explains what needs attention. Open the row's menu, choose Reconnect, then approve the requested permissions.
