Changing how meetings get summarised
The default summary suits most meetings. If your team writes notes in a particular shape, you can define that shape once and have every meeting follow it.

Whether two regions is representative enough for the November review.
Who owes what
Priya, revised data clause, Friday. Alina, rollout timeline, Wednesday.
Meetings get written up that way
- Templates live in your account settings
- Describe the shape you want
- Meetings get written up that way
Creating a template
Go to the summarisation templates page in your account settings, create one, and describe the sections you want and what belongs in each.
What makes a good template
- Name the sections, and say what belongs in each.
- Say what to leave out, not only what to include.
- Write it for a specific kind of meeting. A sales call template and a standup template should look nothing alike.
Applying one
Choose which template a meeting uses when you set it up, or set one as your default so every meeting follows it.
Write the template as instructions to a person taking notes, not as a form. "List decisions with who made them, then open questions" works better than a bare heading.
