LYV · NYSE
Live Nation Entertainment operates across live concerts, ticketing, sponsorship and advertising, and venue-related activities. Its concerts business promotes and produces events and earns from tickets, while Ticketmaster provides ticketing services and collects fees from event transactions. Sponsorship and advertising connect brands with audiences at venues and events. Customers include fans, artists, promoters, venues and advertisers. The company generated $25.2 billion of revenue and $0.5 billion of net income in fiscal 2025, compared with $23.2 billion and $0.9 billion, respectively, in fiscal 2024. Recent growth is supported by record attendance, Ticketmaster expansion and international demand.
Live Nation rose $2.83, or 1.56%, over the week, from $180.87 to $183.70. The stock climbed 2.0% on Wednesday and held near $183.56 Thursday before dropping 5.1% to $174.13 on Friday, its largest move of the period. That reversal followed the second-quarter earnings release and call: earnings and revenue exceeded estimates, attendance was record, Ticketmaster and international demand grew, and management raised its full-year expectations, but investors also weighed valuation, cost pressure, debt and legal risks. LYV then recovered 4.3% Monday and added 1.1% Tuesday, regaining most of Friday’s decline. No broader market driver is supplied.
