Reports Nov 4, 2026, after the close.
Consensus is $1.59 EPS for Sep 2026 across 5 estimates, ranging $1.50 to $1.70.
PTC’s Q3 FY2026 was a stronger recurring-business and cash-flow quarter than headline revenue and GAAP earnings suggest, although license timing remained a drag. Revenue of $600 million was down 7% year over year and 22% sequentially, but the year-ago quarter included $45 million from Kepware and ThingWorx, sold in March. A shortened-duration large renewal and expansion also reduced license revenue. Continuing-business ARR grew 9.1% in constant currency, ahead of the company’s 8%–9% guidance, and operating and free cash flow exceeded their guidance ranges. Against the prior-year quarter, GAAP operating margin fell to 27.7% from 32.6%, and GAAP diluted EPS declined to $1.03 from $1.17; non-GAAP EPS was $1.58 versus $1.64. The supplied consensus line lists EPS of $1.17 against $1.19 expected, but that reported figure conflicts with the $1.03 GAAP diluted EPS in PTC’s release and filing. PTC raised FY2026 ARR, revenue and EPS ranges, leaving cash-flow guidance unchanged at about $880 million operating cash flow and $850 million free cash flow. The print also featured substantial buybacks: approximately $525 million in Q3, with FY2026 repurchases expected to reach about $1.625 billion.
