Reports Oct 29, 2026.
Consensus is $0.51 EPS for Sep 2026 across 10 estimates, ranging $0.45 to $0.65.
Estée Lauder’s fiscal fourth quarter was a return-to-growth and operating-recovery print. Net sales increased 6% year over year to $3.63 billion, or 5% organically, ahead of the prior quarter’s $3.71 billion and the year-ago quarter’s $3.41 billion. Adjusted diluted EPS of $0.39 beat the $0.32 consensus estimate, while adjusted operating income nearly doubled to $267 million from $137 million and adjusted margin rose to 7.3% from 4.0%. Reported results remained distorted by $306 million of restructuring and other charges: GAAP operating loss narrowed to $39 million from $390 million, and net loss improved to $116 million from $546 million. The prior quarter had reported operating income of $249 million, net income of $89 million and diluted EPS of $0.24.
The quarter’s defining features were broadening sales momentum, especially in Skin Care and Fragrance, and the conversion of the Profit Recovery and Growth Plan into margin gains that funded consumer-facing investment. Full-year organic sales rose 3% to $14.81 billion, adjusted operating income increased 47% to $1.69 billion, and free cash flow nearly doubled to $1.32 billion. Management also raised fiscal 2027 adjusted margin guidance to 12.7% to 13.5%, while maintaining 3% to 5% organic sales growth.
