Expected to report Feb 17, 2027 — estimated from last year’s reporting date.
Consensus is $0.83 EPS for Dec 2026 across 10 estimates, ranging $0.68 to $0.99.
The quarter was defined by DoorDash’s proposed $17 billion acquisition of Instacart, announced alongside results. The $65-per-share offer carries a 26% premium to Instacart’s October 22 closing price, is at least 75% cash, and caps DoorDash stock at 25% of consideration. The transaction would pair DoorDash’s delivery network with Instacart’s grocery technology, but remains subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals and is not expected to close until late 2027 or the first half of 2028.
The operating print was strong: diluted EPS of $1.06 beat the $0.82 consensus by 29%, while revenue grew 34% year over year to $4.62 billion and 3.7% sequentially. Orders increased 28% to 993 million and Marketplace GOV rose 36% to $33.9 billion. Operating income reached $442 million, up from $258 million a year earlier and $156 million in Q2; net income was $466 million, versus $244 million and $200 million. Contribution Profit and Adjusted EBITDA also grew about 40%, although Net Revenue Margin slipped to 13.6% from 13.8%, partly reflecting Deliveroo. Cash and investments of $6.8 billion provide a significant funding source, alongside a committed bridge facility of up to $13 billion for the deal’s cash component.
